Causes of Air Bubbles in Walking Behind Compactor Tanks

Jul 21, 2022

The engine is the source of power for all equipment, with no exceptions for small rollers. But if the roller is in operation for a long time, the whole equipment will be very hot, and the engine will also be abnormally hot.

In response to this phenomenon, smart people designed a water tank for a ride-on roller to cool the engine, but the water tank will bubble during use. why is it like this? Will this affect the normal operation of the small roller? Tank bubbling is usually caused by the intrusion of high-pressure gas from the cylinder into the cooling water passages. Next, we will analyze the causes and elimination methods of blow-by-gas.

1. The poor quality of the cylinder head gasket or the use of it for too long will cause the cylinder head gasket to be washed out and burned. Compressed combustion gases in the engine's combustion chamber escape through the cylinder head gasket into cooling water passages. The current solution is to replace the cylinder head gasket.

2. The cylinder head bolts are not sufficiently tightened, and the bolts are not tightened according to the standard torque of the engine. The solution is to retighten the cylinder head bolts.

3. Improper installation of the cylinder liner will cause the protrusion of the cylinder liner to become lower. The solution was to reinstall the cylinder liners of the compact rollers according to the standard.

4. The mounting surface of the cylinder head or cylinder block is uneven or deformed. The solution is to grind the uneven or deformed cylinder head or cylinder block mounting surface to install or replace the cylinder head and cylinder block.
