Daily pre-operation inspection
1. Appearance inspection: Check whether the body of the Road Roller has scratches, dents, cracks and other damages. Pay special attention to check whether the surface of the compacting wheel is worn, deformed or damaged. If any problems are found, they should be dealt with in time to avoid affecting the compaction effect.
2. Tire and track inspection: For tire-type Road Roller, check whether the tire pressure meets the specified value, whether there is damage, bulges and foreign objects embedded on the tire surface. For crawler-type Road Roller, check whether the tension of the crawler is appropriate, whether the crawler plate is loose, worn or broken, and if there is any abnormality, it needs to be adjusted or replaced in time.
3. Fluid level inspection: Check whether the liquid levels of engine oil, coolant, hydraulic oil, brake fluid, etc. are within the normal range. Too low a liquid level may cause increased wear or even damage to the components. The corresponding liquid should be added to the specified level in time. At the same time, check the quality of each liquid. If the engine oil turns black, the coolant deteriorates or the hydraulic oil has impurities, it should be replaced in time.
4. Light and instrument inspection: Turn on the headlights, turn signals, brake lights, etc. of the Road Roller to check whether the lights are working properly. At the same time, check the various instruments on the dashboard, such as the water temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge, tachometer, etc., to ensure that they are displayed accurately. If there is an abnormal display, the cause of the fault should be promptly checked.
Inspection and precautions during operation
1. Operation status monitoring: During the operation of the Road Roller, pay attention to whether the operating sounds of the engine, hydraulic system and other components are normal. If there is abnormal noise, such as the knocking sound of the engine, the whistling sound of the hydraulic pump, etc., the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection, and the operation should be continued after the fault is eliminated. At the same time, pay attention to whether the operation of the Road Roller is stable, whether there is deviation, shaking and other phenomena, if so, it needs to be adjusted in time.
2. Temperature inspection: Regularly check the temperature of the engine, hydraulic system, drive axle and other components. Generally speaking, the normal operating temperature of the engine is between 80-95℃, and the hydraulic oil temperature should be controlled within the range of 30-60℃. If the temperature is too high, the machine should be stopped to check whether the cooling system is working properly, or whether there are problems such as overload.
3. Avoid overload operation: Strictly operate in accordance with the rated working capacity of the Road Roller and do not overload. Overload operation will not only accelerate the wear of the equipment, but may also cause problems such as engine overheating and hydraulic system failure, affecting the service life and safety of the equipment.
Maintenance after operation
1. Clean the equipment: After the operation, the dirt, dust, oil and other debris on the surface of the Road Roller should be removed in time. The body and compaction wheel can be washed with a high-pressure water gun, but be careful to avoid water entering electrical equipment and engine air intakes. For some stubborn stains, special detergents can be used for cleaning.
2. Fasten parts: Check whether the bolts and nuts of various parts of the Road Roller are loose, especially the connecting bolts of key parts such as compaction wheels, engines, and frames. If loose bolts are found, they should be tightened in time to prevent failures caused by loose parts.
3. Lubrication maintenance: Lubricate each lubrication point regularly according to the requirements of the equipment instruction manual. Generally speaking, the rotating shaft, hinge points, chains and other parts of the Road Roller need to be regularly greased or oiled to reduce friction and extend the service life of the parts.
4. Parking site: Park the Road Roller in a flat, dry, well-ventilated area, and avoid parking in low-lying waterlogged areas or in an environment with corrosive gases. If parked for a long time, the compacting wheels of the Road Roller should be raised to prevent the tires or tracks from being deformed due to long-term pressure.
