1. Engine: Small dump trucks are usually equipped with an internal combustion engine, such as a diesel engine or a gasoline engine, to provide power.
2. Transmission system: The power of the engine is transmitted to the driving wheels through the transmission system, driving the vehicle forward.
3. Loading platform: There is a liftable loading platform at the rear of the small dump truck for loading goods. The platform is usually controlled by a hydraulic system and can be raised and lowered.
4. Unloading system: There is one or more unloading doors at the rear of the load-bearing platform for unloading cargo. These unloading doors can be opened to allow cargo to be dumped from the platform.
5. Hydraulic system: Small dump trucks are usually equipped with a hydraulic system to control the lifting of the load platform and the opening and closing of the unloading door. The hydraulic system consists of a hydraulic pump, a hydraulic cylinder and a hydraulic oil pipe.
When working, the driver operates the hydraulic system through buttons or levers on the control panel to raise or lower the load platform. When the goods need to be unloaded, the unloading door opens and the goods are dumped from the platform by gravity. When it is time to load goods, the unloading door is closed and the goods are loaded onto the platform. The power provided by the engine allows the dump truck to move forward or reverse when required.
