Gas heating method:
This method generates heat by burning gas (such as propane, natural gas, etc.). The gas burns in the combustion chamber, and the high-temperature gas generated transfers heat to the screed plate through the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger is generally made of high-temperature resistant metal materials, which can effectively transfer heat to the screed plate to make it reach a suitable working temperature.
Electric heating method:
Electric heating generates heat through resistance wire or other electric heating elements. When the current passes through the resistance wire, the resistance wire heats up and transfers the heat to the screed plate. The electric heating device usually adjusts the heating power and temperature by the power control module to ensure that the screed plate can be heated to the set temperature evenly and stably.
In actual work, whether it is gas heating or electric heating, the heating temperature needs to be precisely controlled to prevent the temperature from being too high or too low. Too high temperature may cause the screed plate to deform or damage the pavement material, and too low temperature cannot be effectively paved, affecting the quality of the pavement. Usually, the operator of the paver will turn on the heating device in advance according to factors such as the construction environment and pavement materials, so that the screed plate reaches the appropriate temperature before the paving operation begins.
How does the screed plate heating device of the paver work?
