1. Engine Power Monitoring: Evaluate power output smoothness through road tests, observing climbing ability and high-speed stability. If power is insufficient, check the fuel system, air filter, and turbocharger condition. Professional equipment (such as an engine performance testing instrument) can dynamically detect parameters and accurately judge power performance through waveform or digital display.
2. Cylinder Pressure Monitoring: Measure the pressure of each cylinder using a cylinder pressure gauge and compare it to the standard value. Low pressure may indicate piston ring wear or poor valve sealing, requiring further disassembly and inspection. Electronic sensor monitoring (reading data through the OBD interface) can track pressure changes in real time with higher accuracy.
3. Oil Consumption and Pressure Monitoring:
Oil Consumption: Regularly check the oil level. If consumption exceeds the quota (e.g., adding more than 1 liter per 1000 kilometers), check for leaks in piston rings, valve stem seals, etc. Oil Pressure: Measure the pressure at idle and high speeds using a mechanical pressure gauge or electronic sensor to ensure it meets manufacturer standards (e.g., ≥0.1MPa at idle). Abnormal pressure may indicate a lubrication system malfunction.
4. Professional Inspection and Road Test Verification
Computer Diagnostics: After driving a certain mileage, read the engine data stream through the OBD interface to analyze whether parameters such as air-fuel ratio and ignition timing are normal.
Road Test Inspection: Test shift smoothness, braking performance, and steering agility to ensure the vehicle does not veer or vibrate abnormally. For the hydraulic system, check the motor leakage (e.g., drive motor leakage should be <20L/min) and pump chamber pressure (normal ≤0.3MPa).
5. Break-in Period Precautions: After a major overhaul, a break-in period of 1000-2000 km is required. Control the vehicle speed at 50-80 km/h, avoid sudden acceleration/brakes, and keep the load below 80%. After the break-in period, change the engine oil and filter to ensure the internal components are fully adapted.
