Reasons for Insufficient Subgrade Compaction of Road Roller Compactor
reason:
1. The actual water content of the roadbed filler (&p1usmn;) is not within its optimum water content &p1usmn; 2%.
2. Insufficient compaction.
3. The loose thickness of the compaction layer is too thick.
4. The filling is uneven, the soil quality changes too frequently, and the standards are different.
Precaution:
1. The water content is small, and water should be added evenly. If the water content is large, spread the soil and mix and dry it to make the water content reach the optimum water content &p1usmn;2% range.
2. Increase the number of compaction passes or replace the large-tonnage roller.
3. Appropriately reduce the thickness of loose paving.
4. Carry out standard compaction tests on soil samples of different soil qualities to obtain the optimum water content and maximum dry density, which are respectively used as the inspection standards for different soil qualities.
