1. Equipment status inspection
Check fuel, engine oil, hydraulic oil and coolant: ensure that these oils are sufficient to avoid equipment failure due to insufficient oil.
Check tires or steel wheels: confirm that the tires are not damaged, the tire pressure is normal (tired Road Roller), and the steel wheels are not cracked or damaged.
Check the vibration system: the vibration Road Roller needs to check whether the eccentric block and bearing are normal to ensure that the vibration system can work normally.
Test the brakes, steering, lights and horns: ensure that these components are sensitive and reliable to ensure safe operation.
Check the hydraulic system: check whether the hydraulic system pipelines and operating valves, working cylinders, oil pumps, etc. have leaks and whether the movements are abnormal.
Check fasteners: ensure that all fasteners are not loose to prevent equipment failures during operation.
2. Work environment inspection
Clear debris from the working surface: clear stones, steel bars and other sharp objects on the working surface to avoid damage to steel wheels or tires.
Observe the ground slope: Make sure that the ground slope does not exceed the maximum climbing gradient calibrated by the equipment, which is usually 20%~30%.
Confirm the surrounding safety: Check that there are no people or obstacles in the working area, and set up warning signs if necessary.
3. Safety equipment inspection
Check labor protection supplies: Operators must wear safety helmets, work clothes, safety shoes that meet national standards, and wear protective gloves.
Check safety devices: Make sure that the safety devices of the Road Roller (such as parking brakes, emergency brakes, etc.) are in good condition.
4. Preheating and trial operation
Check the instruments before starting: Confirm that all instruments are normal and the throttle is in the closed state.
Preheat the engine: Turn on the ignition switch, preheat the engine, and start the Road Roller after the water temperature reaches the normal operating temperature.
Trial operation inspection: After starting, check whether the hydraulic system, transmission system, and braking system are normal. Only after confirmation can the operation be carried out.
5. Other precautions
Check the scraper: Make sure that the scraper of the roller is flat and in good condition to keep the equipment clean.
Check tire pressure: The tire pressure of the Road Roller must be checked to see if it meets the regulations and to ensure that there are no abnormalities such as tire leakage or cracking.
Check working device: Ensure that the working device of the Road Roller (such as vibration device, roller, etc.) is in good working condition.
