1. Material conveying
Hopper receiving: Pavement materials (such as asphalt mixture, cement stabilized soil, etc.) are first loaded into the hopper of the paver machine. The hopper is usually located at the front end of the paver machine, and its capacity depends on the model of the paver machine and the construction requirements.
Conveying device start: When the paver machine starts working, the conveying device conveys the pavement materials in the hopper to the spiral distributor. The conveying device generally adopts the method of scraper conveying or belt conveying to ensure that the materials can be conveyed evenly and continuously.
Spiral distribution: The spiral distributor evenly distributes the conveyed pavement materials in front of the screed. The spiral distributor consists of a spiral shaft, blades and a drive device. By adjusting the speed of the spiral shaft and the angle of the blades, the distribution width and thickness of the material can be controlled.
2. Paving and compaction
Screed preparation: The screed is a key component of the paver machine, which compacts and levels the pavement materials. The screed is usually composed of a base plate, a heating device, a vibrating device and a compacting device. Before work, the heating device will heat the screed to a certain temperature to prevent materials such as asphalt mixture from cooling too quickly during the paving process, affecting the construction quality.
Initial compaction: When the pavement material is distributed in front of the screed, the gravity of the screed and its own weight will initially compact the material. At this time, the material is in a loose state, but has begun to form a certain thickness and shape.
Vibration compaction: The vibration device is started, and the pavement material is made more compact through high-frequency vibration. The vibration device is usually composed of an eccentric block and a drive motor, and the vibration frequency and amplitude generated can be adjusted according to construction requirements.
Tamping compaction: The tamping device further compacts the pavement material to make the material more tightly combined. The tamping device is generally hydraulically driven to compact the material through up and down reciprocating motion.
3. Walking propulsion
Walking system drive: The walking system of the paver machine consists of a crawler or tire walking device, and the power provided by the power system drives the paver machine to move forward. The walking speed can be adjusted according to construction requirements, generally between several meters and tens of meters per minute.
Continuous paving: As the paver machine moves, the pavement material is continuously transported, distributed, and compacted, thereby achieving continuous paving operations. During the paving process, the operator needs to pay close attention to the distribution of pavement materials, paving thickness, and flatness, and adjust the working parameters of the paver machine in time to ensure the construction quality.
4. Automatic leveling
Sensor detection: In order to ensure the flatness of the road surface, the paver machine is usually equipped with an automatic leveling system. The system detects the height change of the road surface through sensors and transmits the signal to the control system.
Control system adjustment: The control system automatically adjusts the height and angle of the ironing plate according to the signal detected by the sensor to keep the paved road surface flat. The automatic leveling system can greatly improve the construction quality of the road surface and reduce the error and labor intensity of manual adjustment.
