The three types of filters for small excavators are mainly air filters, diesel filters and oil filters. This is one of the tasks that our robot friends are often exposed to, but do you know these three specific maintenance methods for the filtration process?
The so-called "three filters" are an air filter, a diesel filter, and an oil filter connected to the air filter. The "three filters" are clean and timely, which helps to thoroughly improve engine performance, reduce engine failure rate, and prolong engine life. The following is an engineer introduction of a small hydraulic excavator.
1. Keep the air filter of your mini excavator clean
Too many air filters will hinder the inflow of external air and affect the mixing ratio of air and diesel. According to the test, about 1 gram of diesel oil needs about 15 grams of air to burn completely. If there is insufficient air in the cylinder, the mixture will not be completely combusted, the diesel will be wasted, the engine power will be insufficient, and most of the HC and CO components in the exhaust gas will also be polluted.
The air inevitably contains dust and other impurities, depending on the soil, climate and road conditions in the area. Tests have shown that when driving on a dusty road, the air filter can filter 0.4 to 1.8 grams of dust per cubic meter of air. In terms of chemical composition, these dusts are mostly silica. Once it enters the friction surface, it will penetrate the lubricating oil film, increase the wear of the engine cylinder, and shorten the life of the engine.
