XCMG Small Road Roller Gearbox Maintenance

Clean the gearbox at least once every three months. When cleaning, first stop the car in a hot state and unscrew the oil drain plug on the side of the gearbox to drain the lubricating oil in the box, then screw on the oil plug, and fill the box with Kerosene, start the diesel engine, let the gearbox run at low speed for 2-3 minutes, stop and drain the kerosene, clean the oil plug and screw it to the gearbox. (Note: The kerosene must be cleaned up to prevent the lubricating oil from mixing with residual kerosene and losing its lubricating effect). Add new lubricating oil, use No. 20 gear oil, and add it to the mark line from the oil level to the oil dipstick.

Frequently check and adjust the positioning devices of the transmission control mechanism and the reversing mechanism to keep the gears in proper positions to avoid accidents caused by shifting gears. The leakage of the seals of the gearbox, if the seals are damaged, they must be replaced in time. The connecting bolts between the gearbox and the frame should be tightened if necessary, so as not to loosen and fall off.
