1. Clean the equipment
Exterior cleaning: Before storage, thoroughly clean the surface of the Tamping Rammer to remove all dirt, dust and debris. Pay special attention to cleaning the engine, vibrating parts and handles.
Internal cleaning: Open the cover of the equipment and clean the dust and debris inside to ensure that there is no residue.
2. Check and maintain key components
Engine maintenance:
Change the engine oil: Before storage, change the engine oil and use the manufacturer's recommended oil.
Check the fuel system: Drain the fuel tank and clean the fuel filter to prevent fuel deterioration or clogging.
Check the spark plug: Check whether the spark plug is clean and replace it if necessary to prevent carbon deposits or corrosion.
Vibrating component inspection:
Lubricate the vibrating component: Lubricate the vibrating component to prevent rusting of the component due to long-term storage.
Check the vibrating shaft and bearings: Make sure the vibrating shaft and bearings are not damaged or loose.
Handle and cable inspection:
Check the handle: Make sure the handle is not damaged and flexible to operate.
Check the cable: Check if the cable is worn or damaged, and repair or replace it if necessary.
3. Storage environment
Choose a suitable storage location:
Dry and ventilated: Store the Tamping Rammer in a dry and ventilated indoor environment to avoid moisture and rain erosion.
Avoid direct sunlight: Avoid storing the equipment in direct sunlight to prevent aging of the equipment surface.
Moisture-proof measures:
Use moisture-proof agent: Place moisture-proof agent at the storage location to prevent the equipment from getting wet.
Cover the protective cover: Cover the equipment with a waterproof and dustproof protective cover.
4. Regular inspection
Start the equipment regularly: Start the equipment at regular intervals (such as once a month) and let the engine run for a few minutes to keep the engine lubricated and prevent parts from rusting.
Check the equipment status: Regularly check the appearance and key components of the equipment to ensure that there is no damage or abnormality.
5. Safety precautions
Disconnect the power supply: Before storage, make sure that the power supply of the equipment is disconnected to prevent accidental startup.
Mark the storage location: Mark the storage date and location on the equipment for subsequent inspection and maintenance.
