1. Adjusting the eccentric weight angle: For some plate compactors that generate excitation force through an eccentric weight, the excitation force can be adjusted by adjusting the eccentric weight angle. Open the covers at both ends of the vibration motor, loosen the fixing bolts on the movable eccentric weight, and adjust the angle between the movable and fixed eccentric weights. When the two eccentric weights are completely aligned, the excitation force of the vibration motor is maximum; when the two eccentric weights are perpendicular, the excitation force is minimum. The eccentric weights at both ends of the motor should be adjusted simultaneously. After adjustment, tighten the fixing bolts of the movable eccentric weight.
2. Changing the vibration frequency: Some plate compactors, such as the Wacker Neuson VP 2050R, are equipped with an adjustable vibration frequency control system. The operator can control the vibration frequency with a button, thereby varying the excitation force. Generally speaking, higher frequency results in greater excitation force.
3. Adjusting the voltage: For electric plate compactors, voltage is a key factor affecting the excitation force. Appropriate voltage adjustment can alter the excitation force of the vibration motor. Generally, higher voltage results in greater excitation force. 4. Intelligent Adjustment System: Some advanced plate compactors utilize an intelligent adjustment system. For example, an image acquisition module captures a grayscale image of the soil during the plate compactor's vibration process. A DNN neural network is then used to obtain the corresponding plate compactor vibration parameters. The plate compactor's vibration pattern is then adjusted based on these parameters, achieving intelligent adjustment of the vibration force.
