Mechanical vibration roller
1. Vibration frequency adjustment
This type of roller usually adjusts the vibration frequency by changing the rotation speed of the eccentric block. Generally, different transmission ratios are set between the engine and the vibration shaft, and different transmission gears are switched through the shift mechanism to change the rotation speed of the eccentric block to achieve the adjustment of the vibration frequency. For example, some small mechanical vibration rollers are equipped with two or three gears of vibration frequency. Construction personnel can select the appropriate frequency by operating the shift handle in the cab according to actual needs.
2. Amplitude adjustment
It is mainly achieved by changing the mass distribution or eccentricity of the eccentric block. Some mechanical vibration rollers are equipped with adjustable eccentric block devices. By increasing or decreasing the number of eccentric blocks, or changing the relative position of the eccentric block and the vibration shaft, the eccentricity is changed, and then the amplitude is adjusted. For example, when compacting thicker base materials, the number of eccentric blocks can be increased or the eccentricity can be increased to obtain a larger amplitude.
Hydraulic vibratory roller
1. Vibration frequency adjustment
The vibration frequency is adjusted by changing the output flow of the hydraulic pump to control the speed of the vibration motor. There is usually a frequency adjustment knob or button in the cab, and the construction personnel can adjust the output flow of the hydraulic pump steplessly as needed to achieve continuous changes in the vibration frequency. For example, when compacting different types of materials or structural layers of different thicknesses, the vibration frequency can be accurately adjusted to the optimal value.
2. Amplitude adjustment
Generally, it is achieved by changing the pressure or flow distribution in the vibration hydraulic circuit. Some hydraulic vibratory rollers use a special amplitude adjustment valve. By adjusting the opening of the valve, the flow and pressure of the hydraulic oil entering the vibration motor can be changed, thereby controlling the output torque and speed of the vibration motor to achieve amplitude adjustment. In addition, some rollers can also adjust the amplitude by changing the structural parameters of the vibration mechanism, such as the eccentricity of the vibration shaft, but this method is relatively rare and usually needs to be adjusted during equipment maintenance or commissioning.
