Plate Rammer Belt Wear Inspection Method

It is recommended to conduct a comprehensive inspection before each operation and every 50 hours of operation. The specific steps are as follows:
1. Visual Inspection
Cracks and Delamination: Carefully inspect the belt surface for transverse or longitudinal cracks, especially at the root and edge areas. If cracks are found in the rubber layer, exposed cords, or interlayer separation, it indicates severe aging.
Wear Marks: Observe whether there are abnormal wear edges on both sides of the belt. This may be a sign of poor pulley alignment or excessive tension.
Burning Marks: If the belt surface is blackened, has scorch marks, or is locally hardened, it is usually caused by slippage and overheating, and the belt needs to be replaced immediately.
2. Deformation and Elasticity Testing
Bend the belt by hand to feel its flexibility. A normal belt should have a certain degree of elasticity. If it feels stiff and has poor rebound, it indicates that the rubber has aged and its fatigue resistance has decreased.
Check for twisting, bulging, or localized expansion, as these can all lead to sudden breakage during operation.
3. Measurement of Dimensions and Tension: Use a ruler and finger pressure method to check the tension: Apply approximately 5 kg of pressure to the middle of the belt; the pressure should be between 10 and 15 mm. Too loose will cause slippage, while too tight will accelerate bearing wear.
If equipped with a tension meter, measure the frequency or tension value according to the manufacturer's standard to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
4. Dynamic Observation During Operation: After starting the equipment, run it at low speed and observe whether the belt runs smoothly:
Whether there is jumping, shaking, or abnormal "snap" noise;
Whether there is misalignment or slippage on the pulley;
Whether the temperature rise is abnormal (after stopping, it should be slightly warm to the touch, not hot).

Used for more than 200 hours and shows signs of aging;
