1. Preparation before operation
1. Check the equipment status:
Ensure that the braking system and steering system are sensitive and reliable.
Check whether the tire pressure is normal and ensure that the tire wear is even.
Check the hydraulic system to ensure that there is no leakage and the hydraulic oil level is normal.
2. Familiar with the operating procedures:
The operator must be professionally trained and familiar with the operating procedures of the Road Roller.
Ensure that the operator understands the special requirements of turning on a slope.
2. Skills in operation
1. Reduce speed:
When turning on a slope, you must reduce speed to avoid high-speed turning and causing the vehicle to lose control.
The turning speed should be controlled below 3km/h.
2. Choose the right gear:
When going uphill, you should select a low gear in advance to avoid shifting gears on the slope.
When going downhill, it is strictly forbidden to slide or slide out of gear, and the engine brake should be used.
3. Smooth operation:
When turning, the steering wheel should be operated slowly and smoothly to avoid sudden steering.
Avoid using fast gear when turning.
4. Keep the center of gravity stable:
When turning on a slope, ensure that the center of gravity of the vehicle is stable to avoid rollover due to center of gravity shift.
Avoid vibrating operation when turning, as vibration will increase the instability of the vehicle.
III. Environmental factors
1. Slope control:
When operating on a cross slope, the slope should be controlled within 15%.
Avoid turning on sections with excessive slopes.
2. Turning radius:
Ensure that the turning radius is large enough to avoid vehicle collision or jamming due to a small turning radius.
3. Obstacle clearance:
Clear obstacles in the turning area to ensure a smooth road surface.
IV. Precautions after operation
1. Check the equipment status:
After turning, check whether all parts of the equipment are normal, especially the steering system and braking system.
Make sure that the equipment is not damaged during the turning process.
2. Equipment parking:
When stopping, stop the vibration first, then put the reversing mechanism in the middle position and the transmission in neutral.
Road Roller should be parked in a flat and solid place and not on a slope.
