I. Installation Steps
1. Accessory Inspection: Confirm that the water pump, three-way valve, spray hose, and other accessories are complete. The water pump power must match the road roller model.
2. Circuit Connection:
Main Water Pump: Battery → Fuse → Ignition Switch Relay → Main Water Pump Switch → Flow Controller → Water Pump Fuse.
Auxiliary Water Pump: Battery → Fuse → Ignition Switch → Auxiliary Water Pump Switch → Water Pump Fuse.
Note: The main water pump flow rate is adjustable; the auxiliary water pump flow rate is fixed.
3. Spray Hose Installation: Fix the spray hose above the compaction wheel, ensuring even water coverage of the wheel surface. Adjust the three-way valve direction to ensure normal pumping and spraying functions.
II. Debugging Method
1. Trial Run: Start the road roller and check if the water spray is even and if the flow rate is adjustable.
2. Water Spray Control: Water must be sprayed in a mist-like pattern, not allowed to flow, to prevent the mixture from cooling too quickly.
3. Anti-sticking Agent Usage: Use a dedicated anti-sticking agent (such as water or a dedicated emulsifier). Diesel or gasoline is strictly prohibited.
III. Maintenance and Care
1. Regular Inspection: Check the water pump and spray pipes monthly for blockages or leaks.
2. Spray System Maintenance: Ensure the spray system is operating normally to avoid wheel sticking problems.
IV. Operating Techniques
1. Starting and Driving: When starting, smoothly push the reversing lever to avoid sudden acceleration that could cause wheel sticking.
2. Steering and Braking: When steering, first move the reversing lever to the neutral position, and then change direction after the vehicle has come to a complete stop; when braking, first depress the main clutch, then depress the brake pedal to avoid sudden braking that could cause wheel sticking.
3. Joint Operation: When multiple rollers are operating, the distance between them should be greater than 3 meters to avoid mutual interference that could cause wheel sticking.
