1. Daily maintenance
1. Cleaning equipment: After each operation, clean the dirt and dust on the surface of the road roller in time, especially the surface of key components such as diesel engines, generators, and hydraulic pumps.
2. Check the connecting parts: Check whether the connection of each part of the body is normal, and tighten the loose parts in time.
3. Check the oil level: Check the oil, coolant, fuel and other oil levels to ensure that they are within the normal range.
4. Check the air filter: Clean the air filter element to prevent insufficient engine air intake due to blockage.
2. Regular maintenance
1. Gearbox maintenance
Clean the gearbox at least once a quarter, and replace the No. 20 gear oil after cleaning with kerosene.
Check the positioning device of the speed control mechanism and the reversing mechanism to prevent disengagement.
Check the leakage at the gearbox seal and replace the seal if necessary.
2. Hydraulic system maintenance
Check whether the mounting bolts of the components of the hydraulic system are loose and whether there is oil leakage at the joints.
Clean the hydraulic oil tank and replace the hydraulic oil every six months, using No. 68 anti-wear hydraulic oil.
The hydraulic oil filter should be cleaned or replaced after every 500 hours of use.
3. Vibration wheel maintenance
Replace the vibration wheel lubricating oil every 1000 hours, using CD grade No. 30 diesel engine oil.
Fill sufficient calcium-based grease at the oil cup position of the travel bearing every 20 days.
4. Main clutch maintenance
Adjust the gap between the end of the clutch release rod and the release bearing (0.4-0.7 mm).
Avoid the clutch being in a semi-clutch state to prevent burning of the friction plate.
5. Side drive maintenance
Regularly remove the sand and dirt on the gears and apply calcium-based grease.
6. Battery maintenance
Regularly check the electrolyte specific gravity and charge if necessary.
Keep the battery surface clean to prevent dust and electrolyte accumulation.
7. Diesel engine maintenance
Perform regular maintenance according to the diesel engine maintenance manual, including changing the engine oil, cleaning the filter, etc.
3. Long-term parking and transportation
1. Cleaning and rust prevention: If the roller is parked for a long time, drain the water in the engine water tank, clean the outer surface and lubrication holes of each component with kerosene, and inject grease. Apply butter or anti-rust glue to the exposed parts that are not painted.
2. Storage environment: Store the roller in a dry warehouse to avoid moisture and rain erosion.
3. Transportation safety: When transporting over long distances, use a flatbed trailer and fix the body with a safety locking device to prevent relative rotation during transportation.
