I. Basic Operating Steps
1. Start-up Preparation
Check the oil level, water level, and other equipment status.
Turn on the main power switch (red switch vertically is off, horizontally is on).
Adjust the throttle: black lever backward for low throttle, forward for high throttle.
Turn the key to start the engine.
2. Driving Control
Forward/Reverse: Push the right black lever forward to move forward, pull it backward for reverse, and stop in the middle position.
Steering: Turn the steering wheel left/right to control the road roller's direction.
Speed Adjustment: The lever's movement determines the driving speed; I/II are the working speed, IV is the high-speed driving speed.
3. Vibration Function
Press the button next to the operating lever to start vibration.
Vibration has two levels: low frequency (large amplitude, strong vibration force) for deep compaction, and high frequency (small amplitude) for shallow finishing.
II. Rolling Techniques
Straight Sections: Roll from both sides towards the center. Intermittent compaction: first cover the edge line, then treat the center area last.
Curved sections: compact the inner side first, then the outer side to prevent material migration.
Overlapping wheel tracks: adjacent compaction strips should overlap by 1/3-1/2 wheel width; the outer wheel track on the asphalt pavement can extend more than 10cm beyond the edge.
Speed control: compaction speed ≤4km/h, following the principle of slow at first, then fast.
III. Safety Precautions: Before operation, check the instruments (oil pressure, water temperature, oil level, etc.) to ensure they are normal. Before vibration compaction, select an appropriate frequency and mode (automatic/manual). Maintain a safe distance when driving on slopes to avoid rolling. Turn off the ignition switch and main power before shutting off the engine. IV. Special Scenario Operations:
Loading onto a flatbed truck: maintain a stable throttle, drive slowly after lowering the ladder, and be careful to prevent mud from entering the steel cable.
Asphalt pavement: the compaction temperature must be controlled within 80-150℃; complete the operation before cooling.
