How to perform daily maintenance on the Road Roller?
1. Cleaning and maintenance
1. After each operation, the surface of the Road Roller and the dirt, debris on the rollers should be cleaned in time. You can use a high-pressure water gun to rinse, but be careful to avoid water entering the electrical system and the engine compartment.
2. Regularly clean the dust and debris in the engine radiator, air filter and other parts to ensure the heat dissipation and air intake effect of the engine.
3. Clean the dashboard, seat, joystick and other parts in the cab to maintain a good working environment.
2. Check lubrication
1. Regularly check the various lubrication points of the Road Roller, such as roller bearings, drive shafts, steering mechanisms, etc., to ensure sufficient lubricating oil or grease.
2. According to the requirements of the equipment manual, replace the lubricating oil and grease in time to ensure the normal operation of each component.
3. Pay attention to check the quality of the lubricating oil. If it is found to be deteriorated or contaminated, it should be replaced in time.
3. Check tires and tracks
1. For tire-type Road Rollers, check whether the tire pressure is normal and whether there is any damage or leakage. Maintaining proper tire pressure can improve driving stability and compaction effect.
2. Check the tread depth of the tire. If the wear is serious, the tire should be replaced in time. At the same time, pay attention to the balance and positioning of the tire to avoid problems such as deviation.
3. For crawler Road Roller, check whether the tension of the crawler is appropriate and whether there is any breakage, wear, etc. Adjust the tension of the crawler in time and replace the damaged crawler plate.
IV. Check the hydraulic system
1. Check whether the oil level in the hydraulic oil tank is normal. If it is insufficient, it should be added in time. At the same time, pay attention to check the quality of the hydraulic oil. If it is found to be deteriorated or contaminated, it should be replaced in time.
2. Check whether there is leakage in the hydraulic pipeline and joints. If there is leakage, it should be repaired in time.
3. Clean the hydraulic filter regularly to ensure the cleanliness of the hydraulic system.
V. Check the electrical system
1. Check whether the battery is fully charged and whether the electrode joint is loose or corroded. Keeping the battery in good condition can ensure the start-up of the Road Roller and the normal operation of the electrical equipment.
2. Check whether the wires and cables are damaged or short-circuited. If there are any problems, they should be repaired or replaced in time.
3. Check whether the electrical equipment such as lights, instruments, and horns are working properly. If there are any faults, they should be eliminated in time.
VI. Regular maintenance
1. Carry out comprehensive maintenance work regularly according to the requirements of the equipment manual, including changing the engine oil, filter, hydraulic oil, etc.
2. Check and adjust the various components of the Road Roller, such as the brake system, steering mechanism, vibration system, etc., to ensure their good performance.
3. Regularly calibrate and debug the Road Roller to ensure the accuracy of the compaction effect.
VII. Storage precautions
1. If the Road Roller is not used for a long time, it should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated place to avoid direct sunlight and rain.
2. Before storage, the Road Roller should be fully cleaned and maintained, and the fuel and lubricating oil should be drained to prevent corrosion and damage.
3. The Road Roller can be covered to prevent dust and debris from entering.
