Jun 27, 2025

1. Choose a suitable storage location
Dry and ventilated: Store the plate compactor in a dry, ventilated, shaded place to avoid sun and rain.
Avoid humid environments: Do not place the plate compactor near water sources, stagnant water or wet ground.
2. Equipment cleaning and protection
Clean equipment: Before storage, thoroughly clean the plate compactor to remove dirt, dust and debris on the surface.
Moisture-proof treatment: Lay moisture-proof materials such as desiccant or moisture-proof mats in the equipment box.
Grease protection: Clean the rust-prone parts and apply grease to prevent rust.
3. Use moisture-proof equipment
Rain cover: Use a waterproof cover or a special cover for the equipment to cover the plate compactor to prevent rainwater from directly entering the equipment.
Sealing material: Use sealing materials such as tape or glue to seal the interfaces and jacks of the equipment to prevent rainwater from seeping in.
4. Regular inspection and maintenance
Regular inspection: Regularly check the storage environment of the plate compactor to ensure that the equipment is not damp.
Start regularly: Start the plate compactor regularly and let the equipment run for a while to ensure that it works properly.
5. Other precautions
Drain fuel and water: When storing for a long time, the water in the fuel tank and cooling system should be drained to avoid rust caused by moisture.
Avoid long-term pressure: When the machine is idle, it should be properly prevented from aging. It is strictly forbidden to expose it to the sun or be in a long-term low-temperature outdoor environment.
