1. Cleaning and lubrication
Comprehensive cleaning: Before storage, the flat plate compactor should be thoroughly cleaned, including cleaning the dirt, dust and debris on the surface of the equipment, especially key components such as the clutch plate and gearbox.
Lubrication and maintenance: Lubricate the key components of the flat plate compactor (such as the clutch plate, gearbox, bearing, etc.) to reduce rust or damage to the components caused by long-term storage.
2. Storage environment
Dry and ventilated: Store the flat plate compactor in a dry, ventilated, shaded indoor environment to avoid sun and rain.
Moisture-proof measures: Lay moisture-proof materials in the equipment box to prevent the equipment from getting wet.
3. Fuel and hydraulic system
Drain the fuel: When storing for a long time, the fuel in the fuel tank should be drained to avoid fuel deterioration or rust caused by moisture in the fuel system.
Hydraulic oil maintenance: For hydraulic vibration compactors, the quality and oil level of the hydraulic oil should be checked regularly, and the hydraulic oil should be replaced when necessary, and ensure that it is kept clean when adding or changing oil.
4. Battery maintenance
Disconnect the power supply: If the plate compactor is equipped with a battery, disconnect the battery power supply before long-term storage, and check the battery power and status regularly.
Indoor storage: In view of seasonal changes, such as the arrival of winter, the battery should be removed and stored indoors to prevent the battery from freezing.
5. Regular inspection and maintenance
Regular start-up: After long-term storage, before restarting the plate compactor, it should be fully inspected to ensure that all components are in good condition.
Operation inspection: After starting, the plate compactor should be allowed to idle for a period of time to check whether it is running smoothly and normally.
6. Other precautions
Avoid long-term pressure: When the machine is idle, it should be properly prevented from aging. It is strictly forbidden to expose it to the sun (high temperature environment) or rain or to be in a long-term low temperature environment outdoors.
Clean the shock-absorbing rubber pad: Clean the residue on the shock-absorbing rubber pad regularly, and replace the shock-absorbing rubber pad when necessary.
