1. 2. During the construction of the road roller in the rain, step ladders shall be dug or sand shall be paved on the up and down slopes of the sidewalk to prevent the road from slipping and falling; The construction access road shall be filled and repaired in time, and the hillside soil, gravel and other materials shall be paved to ensure the smooth flow of vehicles and prevent personnel accidents caused by soft foundation and slippery road.
3. During construction in rainy season, ponding shall be removed from the construction site in time. Protective measures shall be taken for machinery and materials in places that may be flooded by flood, and construction personnel shall be prepared to evacuate safely in advance. For construction in rainy season for a long time, a rainproof shed shall be built according to the weather. Stop construction immediately in case of storm during construction.
4. During the construction rolling, the driving wheel of the hand-held roller shall be at the back no matter whether it is rolling up the slope or rolling down the slope. The advantages of this method are: when going uphill, the driving wheels behind can bear the driving force provided by the ramp and the machine itself, and when the front wheels preliminarily compact the road surface, they can bear the large shear force generated by the driving wheels; When going downhill, the impact force generated by the self weight of the hand roller is offset by the braking force of the driving wheel, because only the mixture rolled by the front wheel can support the shear capacity generated by the rear driving wheel.
5. Sudden braking and speed change shall be avoided during downhill rolling. When rolling down a steep slope, a light roller shall be used for pre compaction, and then a heavy roller or vibratory roller shall be used for compaction.
