1. Initial pressure
To be carried out at a temperature higher than 150 ℃, first use a drum roller for static pressing for 1 to 2 times, and the speed is controlled at 1.5km/h to 2km/h. When rolling, the drive wheel faces the paver, and when rolling on a ramp, the drive wheel is low.
2. Recompression
Immediately after the initial pressing, recompression is carried out. The recompression temperature is not lower than 125 °C. First, use a heavy-duty double-drum road roller to vibrate for 4 times, and the rolling speed is 4km/h to 5km/h, and then use a heavy-duty tire roller to roll 6 times. The recompression speed is 3.5km/h to 4.5km/h. Depending on the compaction situation, the number of times of rolling is increased by 1 to 2 times.
3. Final pressure
Immediately after recompression, use a double-drum vibratory road roller, turn off the vibration, and control the speed at 2km/h ~ 3km/h for 2 times of static pressure, so that the road surface is free of wheel tracks. When the final pressure is completed, the temperature is not lower than 110 ℃ .
Seam treatment is also important. In the construction arrangement, efforts will be made to reduce the number of pressing joints. The horizontal construction joints are all vertical flat joints, and the horizontal joints between the layers are staggered. At the end of construction, the paver slightly lifts the screed 10cm in front of the approaching part and drives away from the site, and uses a cutting machine to vertically cut off the part with insufficient layer thickness, so that the next construction will be connected at a right angle. Before the next construction, brush emulsified asphalt on the horizontal joints, preheat the reserved horizontal joints with a paver screed, and manually trim the screen fines at the horizontal joints before paving. After horizontal and vertical static pressing of the transverse joint with a drum roller, check the flatness of the joint with a 3m ruler. If it does not meet the requirements, it shall be repaired manually, and the excess material shall be removed manually; the insufficient part shall be sieved manually. Repair with fine materials until the seams are smooth and qualified.
