1. Before operation
1. Check the equipment:
Carefully check the appearance of the Plate Compactor Machine to ensure that there are no damaged, deformed or loose parts. In particular, check the key parts such as the tamping plate, handrails, and engine.
Check whether the fuel (if it is internal combustion) or the power (if it is electric) is sufficient to ensure that the equipment can operate normally.
Check the transmission system, such as belts, chains, etc., to ensure that they are properly tensioned and not worn or broken.
2. Familiar with the operation manual:
Before using the Plate Compactor Machine, read the operation manual carefully to understand the performance, operation methods and safety precautions of the equipment.
Familiarize yourself with the control devices of the equipment, such as throttle, brake, start switch, etc., to ensure that they can be operated correctly.
3. Personal protection:
The operator should wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including helmets, safety shoes, gloves, goggles, etc.
Avoid wearing loose clothing or wearing accessories to avoid being caught in the equipment and causing injury.
2. During operation
1. Choose a suitable site:
Make sure the operating site is flat and solid, without loose soil, potholes or obstacles. Avoid using the Plate Compactor Machine on slopes, muddy or unstable ground.
Clean up debris and flammable materials around the operating site to prevent accidents.
2. Start the equipment correctly:
Start the Plate Compactor Machine correctly according to the requirements of the operating manual. For internal combustion Plate Compactor Machine, first check the position of the fuel switch and choke, then pull the start rope or press the start button. For electric Plate Compactor Machine, make sure the power supply is connected correctly, then press the start switch.
When starting the equipment, do not stand in front of the tamping plate or close to the moving parts of the equipment to avoid danger.
3. Control the operating speed:
When operating the Plate Compactor Machine, control the walking speed to avoid too fast or too slow. Generally speaking, the walking speed should be determined according to the nature and thickness of the compacted material.
For harder materials and thicker soil layers, the walking speed can be appropriately increased; for softer materials and thinner soil layers, the walking speed should be slowed down to ensure the compaction effect.
4. Pay attention to the operating posture:
The operator should hold the handrail with both hands to keep the body balanced, and do not operate with one hand or release the handrail during operation.
Avoid bending, twisting the body or making dangerous movements during operation to avoid physical injury.
5. Avoid long-term continuous operation:
The Plate Compactor Machine will generate large vibrations and impact forces when working, and long-term continuous operation may cause harm to the operator's body. Therefore, rest time should be arranged appropriately to avoid fatigue operation.
If the Plate Compactor Machine needs to be used for a long time, multiple people can be considered to take turns to operate to reduce the burden on the operator.
III. After operation
1. Correct shutdown:
After completing the compaction operation, stop the machine correctly according to the requirements of the operating manual. For internal combustion Plate Compactor Machine, turn off the fuel switch first, let the engine idle for a while, and then press the stop button. For electric Plate Compactor Machine, just press the stop switch.
After stopping, do not touch the engine or other high-temperature parts immediately to avoid burns.
2. Clean and maintain the equipment:
Clean the dirt, dust and debris on the Plate Compactor Machine in time to keep the equipment clean. Compressed air or a damp cloth can be used for cleaning, but be careful not to let water enter the electrical system or the engine.
Inspect the various parts of the equipment, such as tamping plates, belts, chains, bolts, etc., to ensure that there is no looseness, wear or damage. If necessary, repair or replace them in time.
Perform regular maintenance on the equipment, including changing the oil, air filter, fuel filter, etc., to ensure the performance and life of the equipment.
3.Store the equipment:
If the Plate Compactor Machine needs to be stored for a long time, it should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated place to avoid direct sunlight and rain.
Before storage, the equipment should be cleaned and the engine should be maintained, such as changing the oil, draining the fuel, etc.
The equipment can be covered to prevent dust and debris from entering.
