1. Under normal operating conditions, the basic lifespan of a road roller engine is approximately 10-15 years. If maintenance is strictly performed according to specifications, including oil changes, filter changes, and operating condition management, the lifespan can be extended to 15-20 years. Some high-quality models can even exceed 20 years.
2. Without proper maintenance, the engine is prone to premature component wear and irreversible damage such as cylinder scoring. This not only fails to extend the lifespan but also shortens the actual service life to 5-8 years, far below the normal lifespan.
3. The specific extension time is directly affected by usage intensity, oil quality, and operating habits: Models operating under long-term high loads and using inferior oils can only see a slight extension of 1-2 years; models operating under low loads and undergoing full compliant maintenance can achieve a lifespan extension of more than 5 years.
