1. Daily maintenance
1. Clean the equipment
Appearance cleaning: After each use, clean the dirt, dust and debris on the surface of the plate compactor in time, especially the engine, vibration system and handle.
Vibration plate cleaning: Clean the residue on the vibration plate to prevent the vibration effect from decreasing due to material adhesion.
2. Check key components
Check the engine: Check whether the engine oil, fuel and coolant levels are normal to ensure smooth operation of the engine.
Check the vibration system: Check whether the connecting parts of the vibration system are loose and whether the vibration plate is damaged or cracked.
Check the handle and cable: Check whether the handle is firm and whether the cable is worn or damaged.
3. Lubrication and tightening
Lubricate parts: Add an appropriate amount of lubricating oil or grease to the parts that need lubrication (such as vibration shafts, bearings, etc.).
Tighten parts: Check and tighten loose bolts and nuts to ensure that the equipment is firmly connected.
2. Regular maintenance
1. Engine maintenance
Replace the engine oil and filter: According to the engine manual, regularly replace the engine oil and oil filter, generally every 50 hours or once a month.
Check the air filter: Clean or replace the air filter regularly to prevent dust from entering the engine cylinder.
Check the spark plug: Regularly check the electrode gap and carbon deposits of the spark plug, and replace the spark plug if necessary.
2. Vibration system maintenance
Check the vibration shaft and bearings: Regularly check the wear of the vibration shaft and bearings, and replace the worn parts if necessary.
Check the vibration plate: Check the wear of the vibration plate, and replace the vibration plate if necessary.
3. Electrical system maintenance
Check the cable and plug: Check whether the cable is worn or damaged, whether the plug is loose, and ensure that the electrical system is working properly.
Check the starting system: Regularly check the starting system to ensure smooth starting.
3. Long-term parking maintenance
1. Cleaning and rust prevention
Comprehensive cleaning: Clean the inner and outer surfaces of the flat rammer to remove all dirt and dust.
Rust prevention: Apply a layer of rust inhibitor or rust-proof oil on the metal surface to prevent rust.
2. Storage environment
Dry and ventilated: Store the flat plate compactor in a dry and ventilated warehouse to avoid moisture and rain erosion.
Moisture-proof measures: Spread moisture-proof cloth or plastic film on the parking ground to prevent moisture from rising from the ground.
3. Equipment protection
Release the coolant: Release the coolant in the engine water tank to prevent ice from damaging the engine in winter.
Lubricating parts: Fill all lubrication points with sufficient grease to prevent parts from rusting.
Battery maintenance: If the flat plate compactor is equipped with a battery, remove the battery, store it in a dry and warm place, and charge it regularly.
IV. Precautions
Maintain strictly in accordance with the manufacturer's maintenance manual. Different models of flat plate compactors may have different maintenance requirements.
Use recommended lubricating oil and hydraulic oil to ensure that their quality and specifications meet the requirements.
Regularly train operators to improve their awareness and skills of equipment care and maintenance.
Record maintenance conditions and establish equipment maintenance files for easy tracking and management.
