Preparation before construction
1. Equipment inspection: Make sure the engine, base plate and vibrating parts are intact. Check whether the fuel and lubricating oil are sufficient and add them in time. Confirm that the bolts, belts and connecting parts are not loose.
2. Clean the work area: Remove obstacles in the construction area, such as stones, branches, etc. Make sure the construction surface is flat and there are no obvious potholes or height differences.
3. Wear protective equipment: Wear protective gloves, earmuffs, goggles and protective shoes. Make sure there are no loose parts of clothing to avoid being caught in the machinery.
Precautions during operation
1. Smooth start: Place the flat plate compactor on a stable ground, start the engine, and wait for the equipment to preheat. After confirming that the vibration force is normal, work again.
2. Smooth operation: Push the equipment smoothly, avoid fast dragging or sharp turns. Compact in sequence according to the construction area planning to avoid missing or repeated compaction.
3. Safe standing: Hold the control lever with both hands and keep your body balanced. The standing position should be away from the base plate to prevent your feet from being pressed.
4. Avoid forced advancement: For harder ground, compact it multiple times to avoid forced advancement. If you encounter slope construction, you should work parallel to the slope to avoid lateral sliding.
Specifications during construction
1. Avoid long-term continuous operation: It is not suitable for long-term continuous operation. It is recommended to stop and rest after 30-60 minutes of each operation to prevent the equipment from overheating.
2. Avoid working in dangerous areas: Do not work on slopes, soft ground or near water areas to prevent the equipment from overturning or losing control.
3. Keep the equipment clean: During construction, the dirt and debris on the bottom plate and vibrating parts should be removed regularly to prevent affecting the vibration force.
Stop and transfer equipment
1. Correct shutdown: After completing the construction, turn off the vibration function and then stop the engine. Wait until the engine stops completely before moving the equipment.
2. Safe transfer: It is not recommended to drag the equipment directly by manpower. Professional transportation tools must be used to transfer to the next construction site. If the equipment needs to be lifted, it should be completed by two people to prevent operating errors or injuries.
Dealing with common problems
1. Check the vibrator: Check whether the eccentric block of the vibrator is loose or worn.
2. Check the fuel and engine output: Confirm whether the fuel is sufficient and whether the engine output is normal.
3. Clean the bottom plate: Stop the machine to check whether the bottom plate is attached to the soil, or check whether the construction surface is too slippery.
4. Check the bolts and belts: Stop the machine to check the bolts and belts to eliminate looseness or damage.
Safety precautions
1. Prohibit operation in dangerous areas: It is prohibited to operate and use the equipment in areas where explosions may occur.
2. Prohibit operation in unventilated small spaces: It is prohibited to operate in unventilated small spaces or places with fire sources.
3. Set warning signs: There must be warning signs when operating on site; non-operating personnel (especially children) are prohibited from entering the area within 2 meters of the vibrating plate compactor working area.
4. Ensure that the safety device is normal: It is prohibited to operate the equipment when there is a lack of protection and protective devices or the device is not in the preset position.
