I. Pre-operation preparation
1. Equipment inspection: Walk around the vehicle to check the engine, hydraulic lines, tire pressure, ensure the gear lever is in neutral, and engage the handbrake.
2. Environmental assessment: Clear obstacles within 5 meters of the vehicle. Warning lights are required for nighttime operations.
3. Personnel requirements: Operators must be certified and wear safety helmets and reflective clothing.
II. Operating procedures
1. Starting and driving: Warm up the engine for 5 minutes. Start in low gear, and gradually increase speed to 3-4 km/h after stabilization.
When working on slopes, the drive wheels should face backward, and the speed should be controlled below 7 km/h. Shifting gears or coasting in neutral is strictly prohibited.
2. Compaction: The rule is "static compaction first, then vibration, push from the edge to the center." Loose soil requires two passes of static compaction before vibration.
When compacting asphalt pavements, the temperature must be reduced to below 120℃ before starting vibration.
3. Safety Distance: When multiple machines are operating, maintain a distance of 3 times the vehicle speed, with a minimum of 5 meters.
Leave a 1-meter buffer zone at the edge of pits, and maintain a 0.5-meter distance from the edge of soft roadbeds.
III. Post-Operation Maintenance
1. Shutdown Procedure: Turn off the vibration first, then shut off the engine. Use wheel chocks when parking on a slope.
2. Equipment Maintenance: Clean any adhering material from the rollers, check fasteners, and change the engine oil regularly.
IV. Prohibited Actions
1. Operating the vibration machine on slopes exceeding the maximum allowable gradient, on paved surfaces, or with malfunctioning equipment.
2. When making sharp turns, do not exceed 3 km/h, and never use the high gear.
