Jul 14, 2025

1. Cleaning and rust prevention
Equipment cleaning: Clean the inner and outer surfaces of the Road Roller, wipe the outer surface of the parts and the lubrication holes with kerosene and add grease, and apply butter or anti-rust glue to the unpainted exposed parts.
Overall lubrication: Add new oil or grease to each lubrication point of the Road Roller.
2. Parking environment selection
Dry and ventilated: It should be parked in a dry and ventilated place to avoid deformation caused by direct contact between the steel wheel or tire and the ground.
Warehouse storage: It should be parked in a warehouse if conditions permit. Outdoor parking should be selected in a ventilated place and covered with canvas.
3. Engine maintenance
Technical maintenance: Perform technical maintenance for long-term parking according to the requirements of the engine manual and perform rust prevention.
Regular start: Even if the equipment is not used for a long time, the engine should be started regularly to prevent rust on the equipment. Fill the cooling water before starting and drain it again before storage.
4. Other precautions
Battery maintenance: Disconnect the negative pole of the battery and charge it regularly to avoid battery damage due to power loss.
Sprinkler system: drain the water tank and all water lines, drain the filter housing and water pump, and release all sprinkler nozzles.
Diesel tank: fill the fuel tank completely to prevent condensation.
Hydraulic tank: fill the hydraulic tank to the maximum level.
Tire pressure: ensure that the tire pressure is at least 380kPa (55psi).
