1. Parking location selection
Safe and flat: It should be parked in a safe, flat and solid place, and avoid parking on slopes or soft ground to prevent the equipment from sliding or sinking.
Avoid dangerous areas: Do not park in dangerous areas, such as waterside where landslides and collapses are prone to occur, or rivers where the water level is prone to rise.
2. Protective measures
Rainproof cloth cover: When parking in the open air, it should be selected in a ventilated place and covered with a rainproof cloth to avoid damage and rust of components caused by rain erosion and humid environment.
Check the fuel tank cap: Check whether the fuel tank cap, engine oil filler cap and hydraulic oil tank cap are properly closed to prevent rainwater from seeping into the tank.
3. Cleaning and rust prevention
Cleaning equipment: Before parking, the inner and outer surfaces of the Road Roller should be cleaned, the outer surface of the components and the lubrication holes should be wiped with kerosene and greased, and the exposed parts without paint should be coated with butter or anti-rust glue.
4. Safety precautions
Block the wheels: After parking, use triangular wooden blocks to block the front and rear wheels to prevent the Road Roller from sliding accidentally.
Set warnings: If you park on the roadside, you should make warning signs and place signal lights when parking at night to avoid collisions with other vehicles.
5. Regular maintenance
Regular start: Even if the equipment is not used for a long time, you should start the engine regularly to prevent the equipment from rusting.
Lubrication and inspection: Add new oil or grease to each lubrication point of the Road Roller, and regularly check the connection of each component to ensure that there is no looseness or loss.
6. Other precautions
Parking distance: The Road Roller should be parked at least 0.5 meters away from the slope edge of the working surface.
Slope parking is prohibited: It is prohibited to park on the slope. When it is necessary to park temporarily, the equipment should be braked and the rollers should be wedged.
