1. Parking location selection
Safe and flat: The Road Roller should be parked in a safe, flat and solid place, and avoid parking on slopes or soft ground to prevent the equipment from sliding or sinking.
Avoid obstacles: The parking location should not affect the normal passage of other vehicles and construction, and ensure that there are no obstacles and personnel around.
2. Anti-skid measures
Block the wheels: After parking, use triangular wooden blocks to block the front and rear wheels to prevent the Road Roller from sliding accidentally.
3. Warning signs
Set warnings: If parked on the roadside, warning signs should be made, and signal lights should be placed when parking at night to avoid collisions with other vehicles and cause unnecessary trouble.
4. Long-term parking maintenance
Clean equipment: Before long-term parking, the water in the engine water tank should be drained (it needs to be drained after daily operation in winter), and the dirt and dust on the machine should be carefully cleaned.
Rust prevention: Scrub the outer surface of each component and all lubrication holes with kerosene, and inject grease once. Apply butter or anti-rust glue to the exposed parts that have not been painted to prevent rust and corrosion.
Storage environment: If the equipment needs to be idle for a long time, it should be parked in a dry and ventilated place to avoid deformation caused by direct contact between the steel wheel or tire and the ground.
Battery maintenance: Disconnect the negative pole of the battery and charge it regularly to avoid battery damage due to power loss.
Cover protection: Open-air parking should be selected in a ventilated place and covered with canvas.
5. Other precautions
Slope parking is prohibited: Parking on a slope is prohibited. When temporary parking is required, the equipment should be braked and the rollers should be wedged.
Parking distance: The Road Roller should be parked at least 0.5 meters away from the slope edge of the working surface.
