Apr 09, 2025

1. Choose a suitable parking location
Flat ground: Try to park the Road Roller on a flat, solid and obstacle-free ground, and avoid parking on a slope or soft ground.
Stay away from traffic arteries: Avoid parking the Road Roller on a busy road to avoid affecting traffic or being hit by other vehicles.
Avoid humid environments: Try to avoid parking in humid or waterlogged places to prevent the equipment from rusting or being damaged.
2. Fix the equipment
Pull up the handbrake: Make sure the handbrake of the Road Roller is in the pulled-up state to increase the stability of the vehicle.
Use triangular wooden blocks: Place triangular wooden blocks under the front and rear wheels of the roller to prevent the vehicle from sliding accidentally. The triangular wooden blocks should be placed on both sides of the wheels to ensure the stability of the vehicle.
Lock the equipment: If possible, use a lock to lock the roller to a fixed object to prevent the equipment from being stolen or accidentally moved.
3. Turn off the equipment
Turn off the engine: After parking, the engine should be turned off and the key should be removed to prevent unauthorized personnel from starting the equipment.
Shut down all systems: Make sure all hydraulic systems, vibration systems, etc. are turned off to avoid accidental start-up.
4. Set up warning signs
Reflective warning signs: Place reflective warning signs around the roller, especially at night or in low-light environments. Reflective warning signs should be placed in front, behind, left and right of the roller to ensure that they can be seen from all directions.
Warning lights: If the roller is equipped with warning lights, make sure the warning lights are turned on. If there are no warning lights, portable warning lights can be placed around the roller, especially when parking at night.
Fluorescent vests: If inspection or maintenance is required during parking, the operator should wear a fluorescent vest to improve visibility.
5. Clean up the surrounding environment
Clean up debris: Make sure there are no debris or obstacles around the roller to avoid affecting the warning effect.
Keep the equipment clean: Clean the dirt and debris on the surface of the equipment after parking to keep the equipment clean.
6. Additional measures for long-term parking
Cover the equipment: If the roller needs to be parked for a long time, it should be covered with waterproof and dustproof coverings to prevent the equipment from getting wet or contaminated.
Periodic inspection: Even if the equipment is parked for a long time, the status of the equipment should be checked regularly to ensure that the equipment is in good condition.
Drain the coolant: If the equipment is parked in a cold area, the coolant should be drained to prevent the coolant from freezing and damaging the engine.
Lubricate key components: Fill all lubrication points with sufficient grease to prevent parts from rusting.
7. Safety precautions
Avoid parking in dangerous areas: Do not park the roller on a slope, soft ground or near water to prevent the equipment from rolling over or losing control.
Avoid parking under high-voltage lines: Do not park the roller under high-voltage lines to prevent electric shock accidents.
Avoid parking near flammable materials: Do not park the roller near flammable materials to prevent fire accidents.
