1. Storage environment
Indoor storage: The equipment should be stored in a dry, ventilated, non-corrosive indoor environment, avoiding exposure to the sun, rain or long-term outdoor low temperature environment.
2. Fuel handling
Draining fuel: When storing for a long time, the fuel needs to be drained to prevent the fuel in the fuel system and carburetor components from deteriorating. The specific operation is to remove the filter cup, open the fuel cock, and drain the fuel into the oil receiving basin. After the fuel is drained, close the fuel cock, and then loosen the drain port at the bottom of the carburetor to drain the fuel in the carburetor.
3. Oil replacement
Replace new oil: Replace the engine oil with new oil.
4. Cylinder protection
Inject oil: Remove the spark plug, inject about 5cc of oil into the cylinder, slowly pull the starting handle of the recoil starter 2 or 3 times, and then reinstall the spark plug.
5. Starter Fixing
Fixing the handle: Slowly pull out the recoil starter handle, and when you feel the rebound force, fix the handle in this position.
6. Cleaning and Storage
Cleaning the equipment: Wipe the engine completely clean with an oily cloth and cover it with the cover.
7. Battery Maintenance
Sufficient power: Before long-term storage, make sure the battery is fully charged and check the battery status regularly. When not in use for a long time, the battery should be fully charged and stored properly.
