1. Rainy days
Construction prohibited: Asphalt compaction is prohibited on rainy days, because rain will cause the asphalt to cool down too quickly, affecting the compaction effect.
Stop using: On rainy days, the Road Roller should be stopped to prevent safety accidents caused by slippery roads.
2. Foggy days
Visibility restrictions: When visibility is less than 50 meters, the Road Roller should stop operating.
High temperature weather
Heat protection measures: In high temperature weather, operators need to replenish drinking water every 2 hours to prevent heat stroke.
3. Other severe weather
Stop working immediately: When encountering severe weather such as heavy rain and strong wind, the operation should be stopped immediately and the equipment should be moved to a safe area.
4. Temperature restrictions
Construction temperature: The construction temperature for thin-layer overlay of hot-mix asphalt mixture should be higher than 10°C; the construction temperature for thin-layer overlay of warm-mix asphalt mixture should be higher than 5°C.
Spreading asphalt materials: The temperature should not be lower than 20°C when spreading asphalt materials, and the road surface temperature should not be lower than 25°C.
Minimum temperature: During the construction of cement-stabilized graded crushed stone (base) base, the minimum daily temperature shall not be lower than 5°C.
